Despite their inclination to share online, there's a notable absence of a secure digital haven where GenZers can freely converse about their concerns.
Being one of the biggest Dutch telecom providers, KPN introduces the TikTokTalkshow: the first live talkshow on TikTok by and for GenZ. An initiative to provide a stage for twenty-somethings to discuss topics affecting their online lives such as cyberbullying, online discrimination and loneliness. All topics are gathered and chosen with a Gen Z panel and discussed at the table with Gen Z host Robbert Rodenburg.
By utilizing TikTok, a platform popular among Gen Z, and involving them in topic selection and hosting, the project ensures authenticity and relevance. It acknowledges the importance of supporting and engaging with young people in digital spaces, ultimately fostering awareness and dialogue around crucial issues impacting their daily lives.
